How will the EU Referendum affect the local economy?

Tom Watson, Deputy Leader of the Labour Party, will be coming to our sixth form on Friday 13 May to launch the local REMAIN campaign for the EU referendum. He’ll also talk to local residents about the benefits that come from being part of the EU.

Tom will offer his thoughts on how this decision could effect the local economy, particularly industries such as ceramics which play a huge role, and will also be doing a Q&A session.

If you would like to have your say, or just find out more about the issues, please join us (sixth form students and the general public are very welcome). The event will be taking place at Speakers Corner at 5.45pm.

At Holden Lane, we are thrilled to be joining the City Learning Trust. We will relish working in formal partnership with like-minded schools, developing “leaders of learning” both within the classroom and beyond, in an environment where there is mutual respect, a shared vision and a culture of continuous improvement.
